Men With Class

MenWith or MenWithClass is a social utility that started in 2012 as social media platform that highlights men’s wear style and fashion. The team with expertise made a focused effort to define style by perspective and not price point; the company’s significant digital growth on Instagram has given rise to the MenWith web platform, translating the MenWith social presence into a social utility ecosystem of the combined force of business, fashion and social media.

If somehow you have been living somewhere rather than Instagram (unlike most of us) you can purchase the featured styles and so much more services they offer at their webpage platform, and join the rest of the masses. Now all my ladies know we love a man who looks good and that takes the time to look, so for all the trending men’s fashion, this is the place to be.

Concept to Collection

Being able to put the creative process of fashion design is the most important and yet the most missed part in creating a fashion collection. Creative’s get lost in the visual and technical, the sketching, fabric sourcing and sewing, that it is difficult to put their amazing idea to words, here is what we call the Concept to Collection like how I do it tumblr style.

From idea to realization the concept to collection process is constructive giving the fashion enthusiast, the ability to present his/her idea to create a steady portfolio which can be used for business approaches, creative scrap booking or selling to the consumer. I take two of my favorite street wear designers Tiny Mpolokeng for menswear (Tiny Stitches Brand) and June Burger women`s wear to show the entire process.

Street style trends 2015/16

Hello dear friends once again. I know it has being very long ever since and it’s unfair to all of you but hey when the hustle is real it’s real but anyway. In my ventures finishing my fashion course iv been hooked into the study of street style and where it  originated, in that iv picked up a couple of trends for spring summer that I’d like to share with you tumblr style J..

Cool-chella chics
Inspired by the biggest international  urban music festival Coachella, this 90’s look is taken to the future with fringing and tassels seen everywhere and in massive volumes, the more fringes the more street creed
Full Fuller Fullest
Mid length fully gathered or pleated or circular skirts are the go to for the street style fashion follower. In wide variety of colour, construction and fabric the over sized the better

denim deluxe
Urban, chic and simple is the order of the denim deluxe trend, the street savvy consumers are paring their denim pieces in creative and interesting ways like neon colours, funky accessories and sporty versus formal looks.

Bare it all..!
This spring consumers are able to revel their sensual expression and bare the heat with this bare it with trend. The mass acceptance of covering the parts that matter has had a huge impact and has been seen through magazines and media all over

 Palazzo
Palazzo pants are the most simple and comfortable key trend this spring summer, make them stand out by choosing the trending colour and prints, choose an excited construction like gathered waist or pleated all over and walk the streets in pure fashion harmony

2015 Trend Alert...Skirt layering

Hello there!! I know I've been naughty and haven’t posted in such a long time, it’s been hectic. How is the new year so far, gosh it came so quickly and we`re almost half way through, hope it has been good. Throughout the months IV viewed a trend element so cool that I had to blog about it. In this post we will call it laid in layering as a theme I gave it myself, but in popular fashion terms gatekeepers of fashion named it skirt layering as a 2015/2016 trend...here we go

The garments and ensembles are uninstructed and radical, fashion has gone experimental and the consumers are in revolt. Laid in Layering is a trend element identified in the 2015 2016 fashion trends. The look has a 90`s grunge influence with different style components which combined together will give a mood of youthfulness, rebellion and a carefree spirit. There are plenty lifestyle messages that this trend provides as there are many style elements combined but all have a core concept, escapism and breaking free from the norms of responsibility and the demanding needs of our everyday activities. below is inspiration taken and seen from designers, the streets and from inspirational bloggers...

Omne trium perfectum

Hello everyone, hope your all good. This week I had a chilled day with a friend. When I started the blog I had something in mind about the type of content that I wanted. Things got out of the way, but then I realized when I started to put perfection and insecurity aside, I actually started to enjoy blogging. The power of three positivity, authenticity and simplicity is the three main things that are keeping my fashion sense and really my life together. So this week on post I give you a simple yet fabulous look that describes my vibe and street wear (personally love the tribal jumpsuit I wore underneath the denim dungaree) paired with my black wedged sneakers. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did :) much love...

Child of the fire sign

Hello everyone, how have you all been? I hope everybody is okay. The weather in the southern hemisphere has just gone up to a climax; it’s just so hot that everybody is changing their lives and well it is to be expected. Even wearing black has drawn to occasions.  And to that point my hair and everything else has to change (I swear my hair should be put as a trend to watch) it reflects every possible mood, in fashion and the environment… that’s funny. What better way to celebrate the summer kiss with a couture,  exclusively made cocktail dress by Mphuti Mpho, an upcoming South African designer/friend who is a most certain to watch, his love for African inspired fashion is the most alluring not to mention his quality and ability. I kept gasping at the sight of the dress to wear it was an honor. The child of the fire sign, a reflective motto to my personal growth in this phase. This is fashion that is kissed by the sun, African inspired and gorgeous.

Focus on Galxboy

It is as refreshing as it can get when we see Street wear designer Thatiso “vuittots” Dube standing and making waves in the South African fashion industry specifically in street wear. GALXBOY pronounced “Galaxy boy or Gal ex boy” is a street wear fashion brand that was launched in 2008 a reformed concept from his other works “Cheese boy” which was a T-shirt brand he did, then to “CheeseGalxboy” and now got everybody`s attention to Galxboy proving that evolution, hard work and perseverance is the key to establish a fashion business that pays off.

The brand is embodied with a catchy tag line “what girls do because of boys and what boys do because of girls” sound s very fun and cheeky but I personally admire what was or is the design aesthetics that he puts in each garment made, and branding, his quirky animations and surprising details that one would not think in a locally based street wear brand.
