Being able to put the creative
process of fashion design is the most important and yet the most missed part in
creating a fashion collection. Creative’s get lost in the visual and technical,
the sketching, fabric sourcing and sewing, that it is difficult to put their
amazing idea to words, here is what we call the Concept to Collection like how
I do it tumblr style.
From idea to realization the concept to collection process is constructive giving the fashion enthusiast, the ability to present his/her idea to create a steady portfolio which can be used for business approaches, creative scrap booking or selling to the consumer. I take two of my favorite street wear designers Tiny Mpolokeng for menswear (Tiny Stitches Brand) and June Burger women`s wear to show the entire process.
